Stores Person

The Company Our client is a niche engineering company; due to growth they are looking to recruit a Store Person. The Role You will be responsible for managing and materials in stores. Maintaining accurate stock levels and materials so they are available when needed and coordinating the storage area. Placing orders for materials and supplies, managing purchase orders and potentially identifying purchasing opportunities with suppliers. Completing paperwork, managing inventory records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Developing and implementing efficient stock control systems and processes. Conducting regular stock takes, managing stock reports and departmental KPIs. The Person Will ideally have experience in a similar role. Engineering/ Technical knowledge beneficial. FLT licence beneficial. Must be happy to work day shift pattern. Logical problem solver. Previous engineering or manufacturing experience is essential. Must have good IT and communication skills.
