Our client is looking for a proactive and organised Site Stores Assistant to support the day-to-day operation of our busy site stores function near Knaresborough.In this hands-on role, you''ll help ensure our engineering and operational teams have the tools, spare parts and materials they need to keep one of the UK''s leading waste recovery facilities running safely and efficiently.Key responsibilities:Receiving and booking in deliveriesManaging stock and inventory recordsIssuing tools, consumables and spare partsConducting stock checks and stocktakesSupporting maintenance planning activitiesMaintaining a safe, organised and compliant stores environmentWhat we''re looking for:Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, inventory or stock control roleExperience using inventory management systemsGood IT skills, including Microsoft OfficeStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsExcellent teamwork and communication skillsDesirable:Forklift truck licenceKnowledge of mechanical or electrical componentsExperience within an industrial, manufacturing, engineering or regulated environmentThis is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis.If you are interested in the role please apply on our website with your CV, alternatively you can email your CV to quoting the reference number.Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
