Stores Person / Delivery Driver

We are currently recruiting for a reliable, organised and proactive Storesperson / Delivery Driver to join our client on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable and motivated individual who wants to take ownership of a stores operation and make a positive impact on the efficiency of the wider business. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stores are well managed, the engineers'' vans are properly organised and stocked, and materials are delivered across the Midlands efficiently and safely. They will be someone who takes pride in their work, maintains high standards and understands the importance of keeping engineers equipped and ready to carry out their jobs. A key aspect of this position will be taking ownership of the stores, implementing and maintaining an effective stock control system, and ensuring that materials are readily available when required. Stores and Stock Management Take ownership of the stores area, ensuring it is clean, tidy, safe and well organised at all times. Develop and maintain an effective layout and storage system to ensure materials, tools and equipment are easily accessible. Implement and maintain a robust stock control system, accurately recording all goods received, issued and returned. Monitor stock levels and identify when materials and supplies need to be replenished.
