Duration: Permanent

Working Hours: Mon - Thurs 8am - 5m and Fri 8am - 3pm

Salary: -27,300p/a

Stafflex are recruiting a Stores Person on behalf of our client, an electronic design and manufacturer who produce state-of-the -art control systems. Due to growth, they are now seeking a highly organised and motivated individual who can ensure the stock operations run smoothly.

General Duties:

Ensure all materials are in the right place at the right time.

• Database management: Ensure stock accuracy by maintaining the database system.
• Goods reconciliation: Verify incoming goods against delivery notes and operating system.
• Order fulfilment: Pick, pack and ship goods according to the dispatch schedule.
• Courier co-ordination: Organise collections with couriers.
• Inventory management: Store goods in the correct locations and pick kits for production.

• Attention to detail.
• Willing to learn and develop.
• Flexibility - ability to handle various tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment .
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable using IT systems to manage stock operations - Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel.
• Good level of physical fitness as the role will require you to lift and move materials as and when needed - no heavier than 25kg.
• Previous stock management experience advantageous but not essential.
