Neos Engineering is delighted to be working with a respected and expanding organisation in the construction plant hire industry. Renowned for their reliability and customer-first approach, our client is now seeking a detail-oriented and organised Storesperson to support their depot operations in Coventry.

The Role

As a Storesperson, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of the depot by ensuring equipment, tools, and parts are accurately received, stored, and issued. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where organisation and attention to detail are key.

Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods and hire equipment
• Preparing and issuing items for hire or internal use
• Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring the stores area is clean and well-organised
• Liaising with hire desk, engineers, and depot staff to ensure timely availability of equipment
• Assisting with stock checks, audits, and ordering supplies as required

You’ll be instrumental in keeping the depot running efficiently and supporting both the hire and engineering teams in delivering outstanding service.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or depot-based role (experience in the plant/tool/equipment hire sector is a strong advantage)
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• A methodical and detail-focused approach to work
• Good communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
