Our client, a leading organisation, is currently seeking a Stores Person to join their team on a temp to perm basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and controlling stock levels
- Operating within the stores area to handle materials and stock items
- Loading and strapping down flatbed lorries
- Ensuring the accurate recording and management of inventory
- Using forklifts to move materials safely
- Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment
- Conducting regular stock checks and audits
- Collaborating with other departments as necessary
Job Requirements:
- Experience in stores/materials/stock control
- Warehouse experience, including forklift operation
- Ability to load and strap down flatbed lorries
- Good attention to detail with competency in IT
- Valid driving licence and own vehicle for site access
- Ability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 16:30 with a 30-minute lunch break
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
