Seeking an experienced Store Person to join and make an impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment in a hands on role. Job Title: Stores Person Location: Tiverton Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 and Friday 08:00 - 13:30 Salary: £29,400 per annum About the Stores Person Role: A hands-on role within a world-renowned manufacturing company based in Devon for over 150 years.This is a highly accountable role which is key to the efficiency of the operation in its totality. The essence of the role is to organise and control the Company store''s function which includes, but is not restricted to, goods in, goods out, controlling the issuing of parts to production, inventory accuracy, stock takes, loading and unloading vehicles using company forklift truck and working closely with the spares, service and production team.Training will be provided to familiarise the successful applicant with the specialist machinery and equipment we supply along with our internal computer systems. Responsibilities of the Stores Person: Goods inwards and goods outwards Issuing parts to the production team Support the Workshop supervisor in organising shop floor Engineering material/components to ensure workflow efficiency within the dept.
