Stores Operator - DaysVishay, Newport Pay: £25,778 per annum (£12.71 per hour)Hours: 39 hours per weekContract: Ongoing rolling contract Manpower is recruiting on behalf of Vishay in Newport for a Stores Operator to join their busy stores and warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual who enjoys a varied working day and takes pride in delivering high standards of accuracy and customer service. Working as part of a supportive team, you will play a key role in ensuring materials, consumables and spare parts are available to support manufacturing operations. The role offers a mix of warehouse activities and desk-based tasks, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and can adapt to changing priorities throughout the day. Key responsibilities include supporting manufacturing and repair and maintenance teams by issuing consumables and spare parts, carrying out cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy, assisting with continuous improvement and 6S activities within the stores areas, and unloading, checking, receipting and storing incoming goods. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, good organisational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will be comfortable interacting with both internal and external customers and have a positive, can-do attitude.
