The successful Stores Operative will support the day-to-day running of the stores department, including receiving deliveries, picking and packing orders, issuing parts and maintaining accurate stock records.Previous stores or warehouse experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities for the Stores OperativeReceive, unload and book in deliveries.Check deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.Store parts correctly and maintain accurate stock records.Pick, pack and prepare parts for projects and customer orders.Prepare shipments, including pallet banding and loading vehicles.Complete dispatch paperwork and take photographs of outgoing goods.Issue parts to engineers and support project requirements.Assist with stocktaking and resolve stock discrepancies.Maintain stock levels and make effective use of storage space.Label shelves and boxes for upcoming projects.Keep the stores an...
