Stores Operative

Are you an Stores Operative? Do you have inventory/stock control experience?We currently have a temporary Stores operative role available with DS Smith. This role is ideal for someone with previous admin and data entry experience Role: Stores OperativeShifts: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm or 8am-4pmPay: 14ph per hourDuration: 6 months Location: DS Smith Packaging, South Mills, The Ridgeway, Blunham, Bedford MK44 3PH 100% site based Main tasks includeMonitoring stock levels, ensuring that material is available as required to meet production plansGoods in, goods outBooking and processing deliveries Cooperate with purchasing and planning team to ensure materials are availableReorder materials and consumables to avoid shortagesStock Control: Investigate discrepancies between physical and system stockEnsure items are properly labelled and stored promptlyReceive, inspect, and verify incoming goods and materials against delivery notesLoading and unloading deliveries with FLT RequirementsExcellent IT skills and proficient in the use of Google suite and Microsoft Office suiteFLT licence or previous experience desirable - full training can be providedFlexible and adaptable attitude with ability to prioritise a range of different tasks.Exceptional communication skills, at all levels, both written and verbal.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with other members of staff at all levels of the organisation.Confident, enthusiastic and tenacious ..... full job details .....
