Stores Operative

Position: Stores Operative Salary: 13.00ph - 15.00ph Location: Cambridge Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00am - 16:00pm Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Stores Operative to begin work for a leading engineering company based in Cambridge. Working out of their new state of art facility, they design, manufacture, assemble, test and ship bespoke printing equipment.Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Stores Operative to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the stores function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.You will be responsible for:To take responsibility for the reliability of the Stores business information system, ensuring that the Stores Team are fully conversant with the required data entry process, providing training, support and guidance as appropriate.To ensure the Stores Team adhere to established stock control processes and procedures, keeping the information system up to date and reliable.To analyse stock reports, check validity, investigate and resolve any discrepancies, and make adjustments as required, making suggestions for greater efficiency and improvements as appropriate.To participate in the team''s general activities in selecting components and kits for production, selecting spare parts orders and assisting Logistics colleagues in the shipment of goods out according to agreed Stores procedures.To support the ..... full job details .....
