Job Title: Warehouse Stores / Logistics Operative / Materials HandlerLocation: Sevenoaks Salary: 25,000 - 25,400 Hours: 09:00am - 17:30pm Job Purpose:To ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods across company Stores warehouses, supporting logistics operations to meet customer and business requirements.Key Responsibilities:Receiving and InspectionUnload deliveries and verify goods against purchase orders.Inspect items for damage and report any discrepancies.Log all inbound shipments into the WMS system.Segregate inbound goods into correct locations for put-away.Storage and Inventory ManagementOrganize and store goods safely and efficiently.Maintain accurate stock records using the warehouse management system.Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts.Order Picking, Checking and PackingPick and pack orders accurately according to customer requirements.Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring correct labelling and documentation.Dispatch and Transportation CoordinationAssist with loading vehicles and preparing shipping paperwork.Liaise with couriers and transport providers to ensure timely deliveries.Health and Safety ComplianceOperate forklifts and other equipment safely (if certified).Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.Skills and Qualifications:Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations preferred.Ability to ..... full job details .....
