Role: Stores OperativeLocation: Ipswich, SuffolkHours: Monday to Friday, 06:30 - 14:48Pay: 13.50 - 14.00 p/hour + OvertimeContract: Temporary ongoing (potential for permanent contract)We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a busy manufacturing business in Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous stores, warehouse, or inventory management experience looking for a long-term role with an early finish and overtime available.Stores Operative Duties:Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levelsBooking goods in and out using computerised stock systemsManaging components, kits, and finished products within the stores departmentCarrying out regular stock checks and reconciliationsPacking and dispatching completed customer ordersEnsuring stock movements are accurately recorded at all timesSupporting on-time delivery of customer ordersMaintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environmentWho are we looking for?Previous warehouse or stores experience is essentialInventory management or stock control experience is highly desirableStrong computer and administration skillsExperience using SAP or similar stock management systems would be advantageousGood attention to detail and organisational skillsReliable, proactive, and able to work independentlyStrong understanding of warehouse health and safety proceduresPay and Hours: 13.50 - 14.00 p/hourOvertime availableMonday to Friday, 06:30 - 14:48Early finish every dayTemporary ..... full job details .....
