Stores Operative 14.00 per hourMonday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pmBraintree areaPrime Appointments are pleased to be working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing company who are looking for a reliable Stores Operative to join their busy team.This is a varied, hands-on role covering goods in, stores, dispatch and supporting the production team. The successful candidate will ideally have previous stores or warehouse experience, be confident using a computer system and hold a full UK driving licence.The Stores Operative role:Receiving deliveries and checking goods against paperworkBooking stock onto the computer systemReporting any damaged, missing or incorrect itemsMoving stock to the correct storage locationsLoading and unloading vehicles using a forkliftSupplying materials and parts to the production teamKeeping stock organised and assisting with stock checksArranging deliveries to subcontractors and booking couriersPreparing parts for collection and dispatchCarrying out local collections and deliveries when requiredKeeping the stores and dispatch areas clean and tidySupporting with general warehouse and stores duties as requiredThe ideal candidate:Previous experience within a stores, warehouse or goods-in environmentKnowledge of Logistics Distribution and Supply ChainConfident using computers and stock systemsGood attention to detail and organisational skillsReliable, practical and willing to get involvedFull UK driving licence is requiredPrevious forklift ..... full job details .....
