Stores OperativeLocation: Kidlington, OxfordshireJob Type: Full-timeWe are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a busy team in Kidlington. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a warehouse, stores or stock control environment who is organised, reliable and takes pride in working accurately and safely.Key ResponsibilitiesReceiving deliveries and checking goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.Checking stock for damage or discrepancies and reporting any issues.Labelling, storing and organising materials and equipment.Picking, packing and issuing stock accurately and efficiently.Updating stock records and using computerised inventory systems.Assisting with stock checks, stocktakes and investigating discrepancies.Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.Working closely with other departments to ensure materials are available when needed.Following all health and safety procedures, including manual handling and PPE requirements.RequirementsPrevious experience in a stores, warehouse, inventory or logistics role is desirable.Good attention to detail and organisational skills.Basic computer skills and confidence using stock management systems.Good numeracy and the ability to keep accurate records.A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to prioritise tasks.Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.Forklift or materials-handling qualifications would be an advantage but are not essential.How to ..... full job details .....
