Stores Operative / Dispatch Operative
Monday to Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm 
Hourly Rate £13.50 ph
Location Wolverhampton 
We are looking for a reliable, organised and detail-focused Stores Operative / Dispatch Operative to join our team.
This is a hands-on role within a busy stores and dispatch environment. 
Attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to correctly identify, package and prepare parts for dispatch are essential.
The Role and responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing parts accurately for dispatch
• Reading and understanding part numbers, product numbers and descriptions
• Selecting the correct packaging and right-size boxes for each part
• Ensuring parts are packed securely and to a consistently high standard
• Checking orders carefully before dispatch
• Loading and unloading wagons and vans
• Organising and maintaining stock within the stores area
• Using and understanding racking systems
• Keeping the stores and packing areas clean, organised and safe
• Working as part of a team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
• Maintaining a high standard of presentation and packaging
• Following company procedures for handling, storage and dispatch

• Can confidently read and understand part numbers and product codes
• Understands the importance of selecting the correct packaging for different parts
• Has good knowledge or experience of warehouse racking and storage systems
• Takes pride in producing high-quality, well-presented packaging
• Has good written and verbal communication skills
• Can communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues
• Is organised and able to work methodically
• Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
• Can work independently but is also a strong team player
• Is comfortable with the physical aspects of the role, including loading and unloading vehicles

What We Are Looking ForAccuracy is more important than speed. You must be someone who takes the time to check part numbers, quantities, packaging requirements and labels to make sure the correct parts reach the correct destination.
Previous experience in a stores, dispatch in parts manufacturing or engineering industry would be beneficial.
