Stores Operative

Our client is looking for a Stores Operative to join their team and play a key role during an exciting period of change as they prepare to introduce Microsoft Dynamics 365 across their operations. . This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, detail-focused, and takes pride in maintaining an efficient, safe, and well-structured stores environment. Stores Operative 6-month Contract Salary is DOE Monday- Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm Friday 7:30am-12:30pm (37 hour week) Wembley, London Stores Operative Job Description Identify, establish, and clearly mark default storage locations to support efficient receiving, storage, picking, and issuing of stock. Carry out stock checks and location verification activities to help ensure physical inventory accurately matches new system records. Support the implementation and organisation of Kanban bins and production cells, ensuring stock quantities, replenishment points, labels, and locations are clearly defined and easy to understand. Identify and promptly report any discrepancies or issues relating to stock, labelling, locations, goods receiving, or system data to the Supply Chain Manager or appropriate Stores team member. Stores Operative Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail. Comfortable working in a busy stores or warehouse environment.
