Stores Operative

Stores Operative Location: Ramsgate, Kent Sector: Offshore Wind Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts) NES Fircroft is recruiting on behalf of a leading offshore wind developer for a Stores Operative to join their team in Ramsgate. This is a hands-on role supporting day-to-day warehouse, stores and vessel mobilisation activities. The successful candidate will help ensure parts, tools and equipment are available when needed while maintaining high standards of safety and organisation. Key ResponsibilitiesPick and pack parts, tools and equipment accurately and efficientlyLoad and unload delivery vehicles using a forkliftSupport vessel mobilisation activities using a telehandlerBook stock in and out using SAPIssue and consume parts through SAPMonitor calibration dates for tools and arrange recalibration when requiredMaintain inspection records for PPE and lifting equipmentAssist with stock counts and investigate stock discrepanciesPrepare dangerous goods documentation for vessel sailings in line with IMDG requirementsManage waste disposal and storage areasMaintain a clean, organised and safe working environmentPromote site health and safety standards and use the reporting system to raise issues and improvementsCarry out general housekeeping duties across the stores and warehouseRequirementsForklift licenceTelehandler licenceExperience working in a warehouse, stores or logistics environmentExperience carrying out stock counts and stock investigationsExperience managing ..... full job details .....
