Stores Operative

We are currently looking for a Contract Stores Operative for a 6-month contract role to join our team based in Severn Beach, Bristol. The primary purpose of the material handling role is to perform the electronic and physical movement of material from receiving goods inwards to issuing goods outwards in a safe and accurate manner. The working hours for this role are: 06:00 - 14:00 Monday - Thursday and 06:00 - 11:00 Friday. You will be eligible for a 10% shift allowance on top of your basic pay.Key Responsibilities:Goods inwardsReceive materials, reconcile goods to the delivery note and book in.Ensure that items are appropriately protected and labelled accordingly.Put away materials in the correct locations with care and attention.To process goods in a timely manner whilst upholding quality standards to prevent a backlog.Goods outwardsAccurately pick and transact any kitting requirements in a timely manner.Ensure that labels clearly identify the part, related work order or destination as appropriate.Liaise with production to ensure kits are delivered to the right destinations on time.Preparation and issuing of palletised and high-level assembly (HLA) goods to production.
