Stores Operative

Job description:We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Stores Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance (C/B) licence to join their team in Middleton.This is a great opportunity for a reliable and organised individual with stores/warehouse experience and a current Counterbalance FLT licence.Working HoursMonday to Wednesday: 08:30 - 16:45Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45Friday: 08:00 - 15:00Key ResponsibilitiesReceiving, checking and storing goodsOperating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficientlyLoading and unloading deliveriesMoving stock and materials around the warehouse/storesPicking and preparing materials for dispatchMaintaining accurate stock levels and recordsKeeping the stores and warehouse areas clean and organisedFollowing all health and safety proceduresSupporting the wider warehouse/stores team as requiredAbout YouThe successful candidate will have:A valid FLT Counterbalance (C/B) licence - essentialPrevious stores, warehouse or logistics experienceGood attention to detail and organisational skillsA reliable and punctual approach to workThe ability to work well as part of a teamA strong commitment to health and safetyThe ability to carry out manual handling duties where requiredWhat''s on Offer 13.50 per hourMonday to Friday working hoursFull-time positionStable working hoursOpportunity to work with a well-established clientWork Location: In person Major Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment ..... full job details .....
