Here at Manton Wood, we have a team of around 1,700 colleagues. We produce sandwiches and wraps for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Co-op, Asda, Morrisons, Boots, Aldi and Lidl. Our Manton Wood site has a gym, restaurant with hot food and a staff shop available to all our colleagues. What you''ll be doing As a stores operative, you will be responsible for the receipt and storage of a wide range goods as they are delivered to our factory. You will also be picking and packing different products as ordered by our prep team to be transferred through to the high care prep area. A lot of the responsibilities of this role will include the use of counterbalance trucks, reach trucks, PPTs, however there are other aspects of the role that are more physical, such as the manual transfer of products to high care prep. Previous experience, including past licenses/certificates for use of counterbalance etc, is desirable. However this is not essential as full training can be given by our onsite instructors. This is a physical role that will require some heavy lifting.
