The Stores Operative role is an integral part of the workshop team and plays a significant role in delivering their products to customers. The key responsibilities of the role are to assist with general workshop duties, as listed below, to help the company achieve on-time delivery and provide exceptional customer service.Job Description:Goods inward checking.Order picking and preparation.Stores control.Packing and despatch.Stock checking.Non-conformance recording.General workshop and office maintenance.Following Additional Training:Forklift operation.Pump assembly and testing.Assembly of production order pump sets.Investigation and repair of returned goods.Pump repairs.Principal Accountabilities:Assisting with goods inwards and despatch.Picking and storing pumps and accessories.Stock and inventory control.General workshop tasks.Pump assembly.Pressure testing of pumps.Inspection of pumps.N.B.
