Stores Operative

About the Role
AMLR Manufacturing & Engineering Recruitment Services are proud to be working in partnership with a leading East Midlands aerospace manufacturer who are seeking a dedicated Stores Operative to join their Derbyshire-based facility.

This role is central to ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, issuing, kitting, and dispatch of goods, while maintaining stock accuracy within the ERP system. The successful candidate will also liaise with Purchasing and Quality teams to support smooth operations across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders in a timely manner.
• Support with goods inwards processes, including checking and booking deliveries.
• Maintain stock accuracy within the ERP system.
• Carry out general warehouse duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Assist with issuing, kitting, and dispatching components.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Purchasing and Quality.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stores role.
• Aerospace industry experience (desired but not essential).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow processes.
• Basic IT/ERP system knowledge is advantageous.
