Stores Operative

Join an industry-leading manufacturer in Chapel-en-le-Frith and play a key role in warehouse operations. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Storesperson to work in a well-organised, efficient environment in the High Peak where accuracy and attention to detail are valued.

• £13.74 - £15.90 per hour
• Rotating shift pattern
• Mon - Thu | 5am - 2:30pm / 2:30pm - 12am
• Overtime available at an enhanced rates

What will you be doing as a Storeperson?

• Unload, inspect, and book incoming goods into the business system
• Report discrepancies found during goods receipt
• Ensure safe vehicle movement in and out of the site
• Conduct daily Health & Safety checks on equipment
• Store goods in correct locations and assign storage for new parts
• Pick components for internal transfers and replenish stock as required
• Participate in regular stock checks

What do you need?

• Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment
• IT proficiency, including experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Epicor)
• FLT Counterbalance/pedestrian truck experience (advantageous)
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Storage & Warehousing (desirable)
