Based in Daventry, this full-time Stores Op With Shift Allowance April 26 role supports an established engineering firm's warehouse operation. Working rotating four-on, four-off night shifts, the post-holder handles goods receipt, stock control and order picking while serving internal and external customers. A counterbalance forklift licence and prior stores experience are essential. Pay ranges from £17.84 to £29.55 hourly, inclusive of shift premium, offered on a temporary-to-permanent contract through Pertemps. Reliability, accuracy and safe manual handling matter greatly. Candidates should demonstrate competence with inventory systems and the confidence to work unsupervised throughout the night.

Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for an experienced Stores Person to join their team on a night shift basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong stores and forklift experience who is looking for a long-term role with the potential to secure a permanent position.
The RoleAs a Night Shift Stores Person, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the stores operation, including stock management, goods handling and providing excellent service to internal and external customers.
The Ideal CandidateTo be considered for this role, you will need:

A valid UK driving licence
A valid External Reach Forklift Licence
A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
Previous experience in a stores or stock management environment
Good organisational and stock control skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
A positive, reliable and team-focused attitude
The ability to work rotating 4-on, 4-off night shifts
