Stores Officer

Blue Arrow Edinburgh are recruiting for a temporary Stores Officer for our Public Sector client located in Edinburgh City Centre.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment.

* Experience in using ERP/Stock/E-Procurement systems to receive and issue goods.

* Good level of health and safety awareness.

* Positive attitude to work with the ability to work within a team of stores officers.

* Flexibility to work between sites when required.

This position is for 6 months initially, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, check and put away stock deliveries
• Pick and issue materials as required
• Maintain accurate stock records and report discrepancies
• Keep the stores area clean, organised and safe
• Support regular stock takes
• Follow health & safety and company procedures at all times

Skills & Experience

• Previous stores or warehouse experience desirable
• Good attention to detail and basic record-keeping skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
