My client is a leading provider of electro-mechanical services and is looking for a Stores Manager to join their team in Cheddar. They are seeking a motivated individual to oversee and manage all store activities, staff, stock, and logistics, ensuring efficient operations and strong supplier/customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities - Stores Manager:
- Manage the recording, booking, and documentation of jobs.
- Oversee transport and logistics (including driving when required).
- Ensure effective stock and inventory management, reporting, and analysis.
- Support cost reduction through efficient purchasing.
- Liaise with the Workshop team on non-stock parts.
- Lead stock control, including stock takes and housekeeping of stores.
- Manage and support store staff (administrator and drivers).
- Generate reports as directed by management.
- Proven experience in a similar stores or stock management role.
- Strong inventory management skills.
- Proficient in Excel and reporting - pivot tables, analysis etc.
- Managing or supervisory experience of a small team (desirable)
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Organised, adaptable, and efficient with time management.
- Strong team management skills.
- Salary £30k-£35k dependent on experience
- Monday-Friday Day Shifts 8am-5pm
