Key Responsibilities
 

• Oversee and maintain safe, secure, and efficient storage facilities for all materials.
• Manage and develop stock control systems to maintain optimal stock levels and specifications.
• Process material requisitions and manage the flow of goods in and out of stores.
• Lead and coordinate periodic and annual stocktakes, reporting results and improvements.
• Utilise company information systems to monitor stock, record transactions, and produce reports.
• Identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities, and implement solutions.
• Support the development of departmental plans and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Provide guidance and leadership to colleagues where required.
• Maintain accurate records in line with business assurance procedures.
• Promote a safe working environment and uphold company values at all times.

 
Qualifications and Requirements
 

• Proven experience in purchasing, supply chain management, or logistics within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of operational cost control.
• Excellent IT skills, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing.
• Knowledge of Sage Line 100 or Sage 200.
• Awareness of health and safety in a workplace setting.
• Understanding of change management principles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with diverse teams.
• CIPS Level 3 qualification (desirable).
• Forklift licence (desirable).
