Stores Controller

Role- Stores/Dispatch Assistant/FLT Location - Eccles Hours - Mon - Fri 7am - 3pm Salary £14.50ph You will play a crucial role in supporting our fabrication workshop of the day-to-day operation, reporting directly to the production manager. This role is hands-on, and you will be responsible for the flow of raw materials/finished goods within the works. The role carries responsibility for maintaining quality control of products from suppliers and products moving between subcontractors and customers. This role is based in a fast paced and busy manufacturing environment focussing on small batch production and fast turnaround. Work Activities Cross-checking and packing products for shipment to sub-contractors and customers. Goods In/Out for returns to suppliers. Issuing customer/supplier delivery notes. Maintain a clean and tidy store area. Assist in improving and implementing quality control procedures within the store''s environment. Receive, unpack and visual QA deliveries. Liaising with internal departments on any delays and issues. Assist with monthly stock takes. Essential Qualities- Flexibility within the role to be able to cover a variety of areas within the production department. Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail. Able to organise and prioritise the workload. Must be a team player who can work on their own initiative. Able to work to tight deadlines. Should have good oral and communication skills.
