Your new company Hays are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly successful manufacturing organisation based in the Ballymena area to recruit a Stores Co-Ordinator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a strong reputation for quality, innovation and operational excellence.Your new role As Stores Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the stores function, ensuring materials, tools, consumables and spare parts are accurately controlled and readily available to support production requirements. You will maintain stock records, carry out regular stock reconciliations, monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock control processes.You will oversee goods receiving activities, verify materials against purchase orders, investigate discrepancies, maintain ERP records and support Lean inventory practices. The role will also involve managing Kanban systems, forecasting material requirements, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and leading a small stores team to deliver an efficient and organised operation.What you''ll need to succeed Previous experience within a Stores, Inventory, Warehouse or Materials Management roleProven experience managing stock, materials and inventory control processesStrong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detailExperience using ERP or stock management systemsKnowledge of inventory control techniques, including reorder ..... full job details .....
