Stores and Supply Chain Manager Rochdale OL11 5QYEngineering IndustrySalary £45,000+Monday - Friday, Permanent Role We are recruiting for a Stores Manager to take full ownership of a busy and business-critical store operation. This role has been created as the business continues to grow and now requires a Stores manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the stores team, controlling stock, overseeing purchasing and supplier negotiations, and ensuring materials are delivered efficiently to support engineers and customers. This role is commutable from Heywood, Bury, Rochdale, Bolton, Oldham, Littleborough and similar areas.Other suitable job titles include: Supply Chain Manager, Stores Manager or similar.Key Responsibilities - Stores and Supply Chain Manager: Full management of the stores and warehouse operations Leading and supporting a small on-site team (stores supervisor, goods in/out, picker/packer, driver) Ensuring stock control systems are accurately maintained (ERP / stock system experience required) Managing minimum stock levels, slow-moving stock, and price changes Purchasing materials and negotiating pricing, volumes, and delivery terms with suppliers Planning and coordinating delivery routes using internal systems Ensuring materials are delivered on time and right first time Driving process improvements and maintaining high operational standards Key Candidate Requirements - Stores and Supply Chain Manager: Proven experience in a Stores ..... full job details .....
