Stores and Logistics Coordinator Location: Aberdeen Salary: £28,000 £34,000 DOE Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Thursday, 8 hours per day; Friday, 5.5 hours Contract: Permanent An established engineering organisation supporting the offshore energy sector is looking to appoint an experienced Stores and Logistics Coordinator to join its operations team in Aberdeen. This is a varied, hands-on position combining stores, materials control, procurement, logistics and administration. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring project materials and equipment are correctly identified, ordered, received, controlled and prepared for mobilisation. The Role Working closely with engineers, technicians, suppliers and logistics providers, the Stores and Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the efficient movement and control of materials and equipment from procurement through to receipt, storage and dispatch. Key responsibilities will include: Managing inventory, stock locations and equipment movements using an ERP system Raising purchase requisitions and placing purchase orders for project and workshop requirements Obtaining and negotiating supplier quotations to support best value Monitoring and expediting orders through to delivery Receiving and issuing stock and maintaining accurate system records Carrying out goods-in checks against purchase requirements Preparing and issuing project material kits Packing and unpacking equipment for offshore ..... full job details .....
