Stores and Despatch Operative

Our client are looking currently recruiting for a hardworking and reliable Stores and Despatch Operative to join a busy and fast-paced stores and despatch department. This is a hands-on role that plays a key part in ensuring materials move efficiently through the production process and customer orders are prepared and dispatched accurately and on time. The successful candidate will thrive in a high-volume environment, demonstrate strong organisational skills, and be comfortable managing multiple priorities throughout the day. Previous experience within warehouse, manufacturing, engineering, or logistics environments would be highly advantageous. Main Duties and Responsibilities Managing incoming and outgoing deliveries efficiently within a fast-paced environment Booking stock in and out using internal systems and maintaining accurate records Carrying out regular stock checks and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy Performing final visual inspections on machined components prior to dispatch Packing finished goods securely and preparing shipments for customers Liaising with suppliers regarding component deliveries and order coordination Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the stores and despatch operation Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment Assisting colleagues and supporting operational demands during peak periods Candidate Requirements The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Ability to work at pace while maintaining a high level of ..... full job details .....
