A Stores Administrator is required for a manufacturing company based in Stoke-On-Trent. This role is key to ensuring smooth material flow through accurate booking, labelling, and distribution of goods, with a strong focus on administrative accuracy and stock control.



Key Responsibilities

  • Receive deliveries, check materials against delivery notes, and book them in using internal systems

  • Accurately label, protect, and store goods in their correct locations

  • Ensure timely processing of incoming goods while maintaining quality and stock control standards

Stock Movement

  • Prepare and issue parts or kits to production departments as required

  • Ensure all items are correctly identified and labelled for dispatch or internal use

  • Coordinate with production to ensure timely delivery of materials to the appropriate work areas

Stock Control & Administration

  • Use ERP or MRP systems to accurately enter stock transactions and movements

  • Perform regular cycle counts and investigate discrepancies

  • Process returned-to-stock (RTS) items accurately and ensure correct location allocation

  • Maintain consignment stock records and support inventory audits

  • Assist in preparing documentation and records for goods movement and stock transactions
