Stores PersonLocation: Gosfield, EssexSalary: 13.45 - 14 per hourJob Type: Full Time, Monday - FridayHours: Mon - Fri 7.30am - 4.00pmTemporary immediate start until new year The Stores Person will report to the Stores Manager. This role will suit a motivated and methodical person to ensure that all goods coming into and going out of the stores environment are checked, packaged and handled correctly and that all paperwork is completed, and stock inventory is maintained accurate at all times. To service all workshops and customers daily for parts that may be required. Responsibilities of the Stores Person:To ensure that all stock is clearly marked with the correct part numbers and is stored safely in the correct location notifying the Stores Manager of any new or existing parts needing new locationsEnsure that all stock returned from the workshops is listed and returned to the correct locations. All paperwork must be passed on to the Stores Manager for the inventory to be updatedEnter data onto the computer from information received as required and print out any reports that may be needed thereafterTake an active role in regular stock checks and inform the Stores Manager of any differencesTo control consumable stock on a weekly basis carrying out stock checks and adjusting inventory as required.
