We are looking for a reliable, organised, and hands-on Storeman / Despatcher / Driver to join our growing operations team. This is a varied role combining stores, packing and despatch activities, stock control, quality inspection, and delivery driving responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• As Storeman / Despatcher / Driver, you will:
• Manage goods inwards and outwards activities to support production and customer delivery schedules
• Carry out final inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory control using FIFO principles
• Receive, identify, store, and protect finished goods within the warehouse
• Prepare, inspect, pack, label, and stage products for despatch
• Complete despatch documentation and process shipments through company systems
• Coordinate deliveries and collections with customers, suppliers, and carriers
• Drive company vehicles to deliver and collect components, materials, and finished goods
• Safely load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are secured and protected in transit
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment

What We''re Looking For

Essential

• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Experience within stores, warehouse, logistics, despatch, or distribution environments
• Good organisational and stock control skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Good understanding of health and safety practices

Desirable

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of inventory management systems or ERP software
• Experience creating shipping documentation and carrier paperwork
• Forklift licence (if applicable)
