Our client, a leading specialist in the design and manufacture of commercial livestock transporters, is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team. Key Responsibilities:Manage stock levels, including receiving and distributing goods.Coordinate with the in-house buyer for timely delivery of materials.Implement cost-effective measures to optimise inventory and reduce waste.Conduct stock audits and monitor usage trends.Ensure quality control of received goods and manage returns.Maintain a secure and clean store area while adhering to safety protocols.Collaborate with other departments to meet production targets.Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance store operations.Assist in staff training and manage PPE issuance.utilise computerised systems for accurate inventory management. Requirements:Proven experience in a manufacturing stores environment.Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft applications and inventory systems.A background in engineering or related fields is preferred.Excellent communication skills with a commitment to efficiency and organisation.A forklift licence is beneficial; training can be provided.
