We''re working with a growing sportswear and fashion retailer to recruit a Store Manager for an exciting new pop-up store in Portsmouth.

This is a 4-month fixed-term opportunity, with the potential for the role to become permanent as the business continues to grow.

We''re looking for an experienced Store Manager, Retail Manager or Assistant Manager who can take ownership of a new store, lead a team and deliver a strong customer experience from day one.

The Role

As Store Manager, you''ll take responsibility for the day-to-day store operations, ensuring the pop-up is commercially successful and delivers an excellent customer experience.

You''ll be responsible for:

• Leading, motivating and developing the store team

• Driving sales and delivering against KPIs and commercial targets

• Delivering an exceptional customer experience

• Maintaining high visual merchandising and brand standards

• Managing stock, deliveries and day-to-day store operations

• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training

• Coaching the team to maximise sales and performance

• Taking a hands-on approach across the shop floor

• Monitoring store performance and identifying opportunities to improve

About You

We''re looking for an experienced Store Manager or Retail Manager, or an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager ready to step up, who enjoys being hands-on and working in a fast-paced retail environment.

You''ll ideally have:

• Previous retail management experience

• Experience managing and developing a retail team

• A strong commercial mindset and understanding of retail KPIs

• Experience driving sales and delivering against targets

• Strong customer service and customer experience skills

• Experience with stock management and store operations

• A hands-on approach and willingness to roll your sleeves up

• A genuine interest in sportswear, fashion, fitness or performance retail

This is a great opportunity to launch a new pop-up store for a growing sportswear business, with the potential to continue with the brand beyond the initial 4-month contract.
