Store and Customer Operations Advisor (On Site)

Job Title: Customer Operations AdvisorLocation: MaltonWorking Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, 40 hours/week Our client is a technology driven and specialist industrial services provider offering a range of engineering solutions and technical services to a wide variety of industries. Their Malton site is recruiting for the position of a Customer Operations Advisor.Main duties andamp; responsibilities: Use order book to expedite orders and speak to suppliers on a daily basis to ensure orders are on schedulePlacing orders within necessary timeframes, ensuring best lead time, price and delivery timesAssist stores colleagues with booking in goods/deliveries, correctly allocating stock into the storeroomProviding excellent customer service and assistance to the engineers on-site who attend the officeCompleting necessary steps to enable any non-stocked parts to be sourced, assessing price, lead time and delivery speed and uploaded to the stock systemsOrdering stock required from suppliersComplete manual handling of stock from deliveries to storeroom including heavier items such as motors, pumps, gas bottlesEssential skills/experience/qualifications:Competent in basic IT Skills - monitoring emails, data entry, using the stock ordering systemsMust be comfortable in a fast-paced and high-pressured environmentMust have excellent communication skills and comfortable in a customer-facing roleExperience in storerooms/stores activities desirable but not essential, preferred for ..... full job details .....
