Stockroom Picking Assistant Crayford, KentPermanent, Full TimeHours: Monday- Friday days - 38.25 hours per week early finish on a Friday We are recruiting for a Stockroom Picking Assistant to join an established UK-based manufacturing business in Crayford.This is a hands-on stockroom/warehouse role supporting the production operation. You will be responsible for picking products, preparing kits for the factory, checking components, packing goods and ensuring the stockroom remains organised and efficient.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress following successful completion of their probationary period.Key ResponsibilitiesPick products accurately against store picking lists and works ordersPrepare kits ready for issue to the factoryMaintain and update stockroom bin locationsCollate drivers/components ready for packingInspect products for quality and report any defectsPack products Print and apply labels in line with sales order requirementsIdentify damaged or faulty goodsKeep the stockroom clean, tidy and organisedCarry out general warehouse duties as requiredSupport with loading the factory line when requiredAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have:Recent experience in a similar warehouse, stockroom, stores or picking roleGood communication skillsStrong organisational skillsA reliable and hardworking approachGood attention to detailThe ability to work effectively as part of a teamThis is an active role and involves:Standing and/or walking for extended ..... full job details .....
