Pay: -13.50 per hour

Hours: Thursday 9am - 6pm, Friday 9am - 6pm, Saturday 9am - 6pm, Sunday 11am - 5pm, Monday 9am - 6pm

37.5 hours a week

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a number of Stock Pickers to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation based in Merry Hill.

This is a long-term opportunity with a view to permanent employment for the right candidates.

The role:

• Picking stock accurately and efficiently using a picker truck
  
  
• Operating a powered picking truck safely within the warehouse
  
  
• Locating and preparing stock for dispatch
  
  
• Checking quantities and product details
  
  
• Ensuring orders are picked correctly and ready for despatch
  
  
• Working to warehouse targets and deadlines
  
  
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  
  
• Following all warehouse health and safety procedures

The ideal candidate:

• A valid picker truck licence is essential
  
  
• Previous warehouse or stock picking experience is desirable
  
  
• Confident operating a picker truck in a busy warehouse environment
  
  
• Good attention to detail
  
  
• Reliable and punctual
  
  
• Able to work the required shift pattern
  
  
• Comfortable working as part of a team
