Stock Material Controller

Our client is looking for experienced Stock Material Controller in Leicester.The rate of pay is from £17.95 to £20.51 per hour.This is a full-time role working Sunday to Thursday and the hours of work are:- 10pm to 6am (but this may change so you will need to be flexible to meet the demands of the business) Your Time At Work:As a Stock Controller the role is a pivotal within our organisation, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management system. This position requires a strategic approach to stock management, coupled with a keen focus on maintaining accurate records and addressing discrepancies. The role demands a high level of precision and analytical ability to review, investigate, and resolve material usage variances (MUV) and other inventory-related issues.Key Responsibilities: - Inventory Accuracy and Control - Record Keeping and Booking Accuracy - Data Analysis and Reporting - Material Usage Variance (MUV) Analysis - Process Improvement - Team Leadership and Development Our Perfect Worker: The successful candidate will be adept in using advanced inventory management systems, particularly IBM System 21, and skilled in generating insightful reports using Cognos Reporting and Power BI.
