Stock Controller - Role Description We are looking for an experienced Stock Controller to join a busy, fast-paced FMCG environment. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, conducting perpetual stock takes, investigating discrepancies and ensuring stock integrity is maintained at all times. Working closely with production, warehouse and goods-in teams, you will play a key role in minimising stock loss, maintaining accurate reporting and ensuring stock management systems are kept fully up to date. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular perpetual stock takes across raw materials, packaging and finished goods. Investigate, report and resolve stock discrepancies quickly and accurately. Maintain accurate stock records using SAP or an equivalent ERP system. Reconcile physical stock counts against system records and make necessary updates. Identify trends in stock discrepancies and highlight opportunities for process improvement. Monitor stock movements across Goods In, production and despatch to ensure full traceability. Work closely with production, warehouse and transport teams to ensure the smooth movement of stock. Support month-end and year-end stock reporting and audits. Operate FLT equipment safely to assist with stock counts and movements where required. Ensure food safety, hygiene and Health and Safety standards are followed at all times.
