Stock Controller Location: Hull, HU3 Pay: £14.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00am 4.00pm, plus one Saturday in every three, 8.00am 12.00pm Are you an experienced Stock Controller who enjoys getting to the bottom of discrepancies and making sure the numbers actually add up? We are looking for an organised and methodical Stock Controller to join our team in Hull. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in maintaining accurate stock records, is comfortable taking ownership of regular cycle counts and will investigate when something doesn''t look right. The role Working closely with our warehouse and wider operational team, you will help us maintain accurate stock records and ensure that stock and orders are correctly checked and recorded. Your responsibilities will include: Managing and carrying out regular cycle counts. Investigating stock discrepancies, identifying potential causes and helping to resolve them. Monitoring stock accuracy and highlighting recurring issues or areas of concern. Ensuring stock adjustments and corrections are accurately recorded. Supporting the planning and preparation of our annual stock count. Helping to investigate and reconcile discrepancies arising from the annual count. Carrying out second checks of orders to help ensure the correct goods and quantities are dispatched. Maintaining accurate information on our stock-control systems. Working with colleagues across the business to resolve stock and order discrepancies. ..... full job details .....
