We are recruiting a full-time Stock Controller to join their manufacturing site in Pocklington, near York. The Role This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Stock Controller to take ownership of inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency in a busy, batch-controlled plastics environment. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will work closely with Warehouse, Manufacturing and Supply Chain colleagues to ensure stock records in Sage 200 accurately reflect physical inventory, while improving layout, stock flow and picking efficiency across thousands of SKUs. Key responsibilities include: Owning site stock accuracy and investigating discrepancies between system and physical stock Planning and delivering regular cycle counts and spot checks to reduce reliance on year-end stocktakes Managing locations, consolidation and stock rotation to minimise wasted space and walking time Ensuring full batch traceability and correct booking in/out of stock in Sage 200 Identifying and implementing improvements to warehouse layou...
