Stock Controller - Hybrid

We are looking for a highly analytical and organised Stock Controller to join a busy Commercial team. This is a commercially focused role responsible for managing stock levels, forecasting demand and ensuring product availability across multiple retail customers. Working closely with Sales, Merchandising, Product Development, Shipping, Warehousing and overseas factories, you will play a key role in ensuring the right products are available at the right time whilst optimising stock investment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, analysing trends and using Excel to influence commercial decisions. We''re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems with data. You''ll naturally ask questions, challenge assumptions and use analysis to support commercial decisions. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy. Hybrid working - 3 days in the office a week. Responsibilities Stock Planning and Forecasting Analyse weekly, monthly and annual sales data to identify trends and forecast future demand. Work closely with Merchandisers and Sales Administration teams to ensure customer forecasts and requirements are achieved. Manage stock allocation across customers to maximise availability whilst maintaining healthy stock levels. Maintain and update customer forecasts. Review and investigate forecast exceptions.
