Escape''s client is looking to appoint an organised, analytical Stock Controller to take ownership of packaging stock for a busy manufacturing site. You will work closely with Production, Planning, Site Management and suppliers to make sure the right packaging is in the right place, at the right time and you will also be out in the warehouse checking stock, investigating discrepancies and making sure everything is where it should be. R esponsibilities of the role: Managing packaging and raw material stock levels, including min/max levels and stock availability Using Excel to analyse stock, usage, costs, waste and trends Working from production plans to ensure packaging is ordered in time Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers on orders, deliveries and lead times Planning ahead for seasonal demand and supplier shutdowns Monitoring obsolete and excess stock and looking for opportunities to reduce costs Investigating stock discrepancies and resolving issues quickly Carrying out month-end stock counts and regular cycle count...
