Stock Controller

Established for 45 years and now one of the UK’s leading& multi award winning Engineeringcompanies, WEC Group Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Logistics Coordinator to join our CCTV Division in Darwen.

We are looking for a competent Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations for the division. You will be the one to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods from point of order to delivery, well versed in supply management principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have great record keeping abilities, organised, above average IT skills, customer oriented and familiar in operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum manufacturing efficiency. 

Responsibilities 

· Managing stock levels using IT database systems. 

· Negotiate with suppliers. 

· Meet established deadlines. 

· Facilitate communication amongst production, sales and shop floor. 

· Overseeing warehouse operations. 

· Supervise orders and arrange stock of raw materials and associated equipment to ensure they meet fluctuating demands. 

· Implement any HSE and QSE directives given by the management team. 

· Complete weekly/monthly stock take. 

Knowledge, Skills, Experience 

To be considered for the role of Logistics Coordinator you will need: 

· Experience in planning, purchasing, delivering goods and services to customers. 

· Advanced Excell data analysis and reporting experience. 

· Ability to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods 

· Outstanding organisational and coordination abilities. 

· Proficiency in purchasing systems, stock management software and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel).
