Stock Controller

Cooneen Group is recruiting for a full-time, permanent Stock Controller to support the day-to-day operation of our Managed Service Centre in Wrexham. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock movements, supporting stock investigations and ensuring the availability of products to meet customer requirements. Responsibilities Maintain accurate stock records across warehouse systems and locations. Monitor stock movements, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. Carry out regular cycle counts and support periodic stock takes. Analyse inventory data and produce stock-related reports as required. Liaise with warehouse, customer service and management teams to ensure inventory accuracy. Support goods-in and goods-out processes to ensure stock transactions are completed correctly. Monitor slow-moving, excess and obsolete stock, highlighting issues and recommendations. Ensure stock control processes and procedures are followed consistently. Assist with system updates, stock adjustments and master data maintenance. Identify opportunities for improving the method of operation in your area of responsibility. Implement improvements which have been agreed with your Manager. Support an environment in which people feel comfortable to share information, learning and knowledge within the design team and across the wider business.
