Stock Controller

An established business is seeking an experienced-Stock Controller-to join its warehouse team. Working alongside another team member, you will be responsible for managing inventory on the dry side of the warehouse, ensuring stock is accurate, well-organised, and efficiently controlled.

This position requires a proactive, hands-on individual who can identify discrepancies and implement effective solutions independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate stock levels and carry out regular stock counts
• Investigate discrepancies and drive improvements in stock accuracy
• Manage stock movements using Sage 200 and barcode scanning systems
• Receive, check, and book in inbound goods efficiently
• Ensure warehouse organisation, cleanliness, and clear stock locations
• Support warehouse layout and stock flow improvements
• Assist with operating a small production filling line and maintaining stock levels

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in stock or inventory control
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ideally Sage 200
• Comfortable using handheld scanners and computer-based systems
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
